WARRANTY AND RETURNS POLICY

At Scenima, we stand firmly behind the quality and durability of our inflatable movie screens and related products. Our commitment to excellence ensures that while warranty claims are rare, we are fully prepared to support you in the unlikely event of any issues. This policy outlines the terms of our warranties and return procedures, applicable across South Africa and surrounding African countries.

By making payment on any invoice, you acknowledge and accept the terms outlined in this warranty and returns policy. As a paperless company, this serves as your formal acceptance of our terms and conditions.

 

Warranties

We offer comprehensive warranty coverage for our products as follows:

Inflatable Movie Screens:
A 1-year limited warranty against defects in materials or workmanship. This warranty begins from the date of shipment to you.

Projectors and Speakers:
A 6-month manufacturer’s warranty applies to all projectors and speakers.

In the event of a defect or malfunction during the warranty period, Scenima will, at its discretion:

  • Repair the product at no charge, using new or refurbished replacement parts, or
  • Exchange the product with a new or refurbished unit of equivalent functionality, or
  • Refund the purchase price of the product.

 

Replacement Warranty

Any replacement product or part provided under this warranty will be covered for the remaining portion of the original warranty period. Ownership of replaced items transfers to Scenima.

 

Transferability

The original owner may transfer this warranty to one successive owner, provided the warranty is still active.

Customer Responsibilities in the Event of a Warranty Claim, to make a warranty claim, the customer must:

  • Notify Scenima as soon as any issue arises.
  • Take all reasonable steps to mitigate damage.
  • Preserve any damaged parts for inspection by Scenima.
  • Provide all relevant information and documentation as requested by Scenima.
  • Bear the cost of shipping the damaged product to Scenima for inspection and repair.
  • Before any repairs or alterations are made, Scenima must be given the opportunity to inspect the damage. Alternatively, Scenima may request photographic evidence of the damage.

 

Late Reporting of Issues

To ensure we can properly assist you, it is essential that any product concerns are reported as soon as they arise. Please note:

We are unable to process claims for issues reported after the warranty period has lapsed.

This applies especially to products with shorter manufacturer warranties, such as projectors and speakers, which carry a 6-month warranty from the date of shipment.

After this period, our suppliers no longer accept warranty claims, which limits our ability to offer repairs, replacements, or refunds.

For inflatable movie screens, which include a 1-year warranty, we strongly encourage customers to test and check their items upon delivery and during early use. Timely communication allows us to intervene while warranty coverage is still active.

Reporting issues early ensures that:

  • We can assess the problem accurately
  • We can work with our suppliers and manufacturers where required
  • You remain fully protected under your warranty terms
  • Exclusions and Limitations

 

This warranty does not cover:

  • Damage caused by accident, misuse, or abuse
  • Damage resulting from service or repairs by unauthorized parties
  • Damage caused by improper storage, weather conditions, or failure to follow setup instructions
  • Normal wear and tear
